Hosting guests

If you have a project to host a fellow researcher and/or PhD student, your guest should send an email to adm-support@locean.ipsl.fr :

  • Copy of a valid identity document (ID card, passport, residence permit),
  • A certificate of civil liability insurance,
  • A health insurance certificate.

 

Hosting of non-EU citizens

 

If you have a project to host a fellow foreign researcher and/or doctoral student (not member of the European Union) the information documents, well done by Sorbonne University, allowing to facilitate the reception of a colleague (not member of the EU) are available below. Similar arrangements are in place within our other agencies and can answer any questions you may have.

For a stay of more than 6 months (guest, CDD, ..) within the LOCEAN :

Citizens of a non-EU country who are staying for more than 6 months (guest, CDD, ..) within the LOCEAN must address to adm-support@locean.ipsl.fr :

  • Copy of a valid identity document (ID card, passport, residence permit),
  • A certificate of civil liability insurance,
  • A health insurance certificate,
  • The attached excel file completed,
  • A CV,
  • A description of the research project.

The file will be sent to the FSD of Sorbonne University, which will then forward it to the High Official for Defence and Security of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research for authorization.

The training process is 4 weeks.
